• Reduced excavation / borrow—traditional methods require as much as 40” of base to be removed. Green Stone 1000 Organic Roads only require the removal of foreign
  
  matter and the removal or pulverizing of stones larger than 3 inches.
• Reduced aggregate—traditional methods require 14-36” of new aggregate to be purchased, hauled, applied, graded and rolled. Green Stone 1000 Organic Roads can be constructed without importing stone /gravel if the existing soil contains as much as 20% stone content.



• Reduced asphalt— heavy duty methods require 6—15” of asphalt to be applied in successive layers. Green Stone 1000 Organic Roads require no asphalt for rural applications. If desired for appearance, an overlay of 1-2” of asphalt may be applied.



• Reduced Energy. Reduced production of asphalt, concrete, and aggregate, plus reduced hauling of soil, aggregate, and asphalt sharply reduces energy usage and pollution.

How does Green Stone 1000 Soil Aggregator work ?

• Green Stone 1000 Soil Aggregator is a proprietary formulation of naturally derived enzymes that catalyze components of a wide range of cohesive clay-containing soils.



• When soil is treated with Green Stone 1000 Soil Aggregator according to manufacturer’s directions, two desirable reactions occur: First, cohesive-clay components in soil form strong, permanent electro—biochemical linkages; Second, inorganic soil particles are physically aggregated—vastly reducing the size of voids.



• The result is an extremely durable road structure where the surface is water-proof and the underlying soil structure is compacted with a significant reduction in size and number of soil voids.
